With many offices globally, and more than 1000 employees, they have now decided to explore the Dutch market further. Although there is an existing customer base here, their products and solutions show a lot of potential for growth. To reach this potential we’re looking for a Sales Manager Benelux.
A technically savvy and commercially strong personality, preferably with experience in this market or supplier market. First you’ll grow business with the current customers while expanding the customer base. Your focus will also be to expand the solutions and products represented in the industry.
You will initially work from home, an office location can be decided at a later stage. We expect our presence to first grow in The Netherlands and then expand into the Benelux area. The right candidate will grow the business and eventually the team, potentially taking on the Country Manager role in the future. You’ll report directly to the Business Unit Manager at their headquarters.
Your sales will be done directly with the end customer and therefore will be longstanding. New Business is important, but Key Account Management is just as relevant. This type of business evolves around longterm projects with our customers. It also means you have a tenacity in you that’s required for long sales cycles, ofter through tenders.
As time progresses and you manage to grow the business and the team, you’ll be expected to explore new markets with existing solutions.
Minimum Bachelor level educated, with a technical focus like mechanical, electrical of construction engineering.
Your technical skills enable you to independently make the right calculations needed for quotes.
You are an experienced sales manager with a proven track record in both Account Management and New Business.
Experienced in tender management.
Excellent communicator, who can build report not only with customer but also with all necessary levels within the organization.
Their industry holds no secrets, you manage an actual and relevant network.
You speak Dutch as a native language, and you also speak fluent English and German.
You live in the central parts of the country, are willing to travel and able to work from home.
